Can be very deceptive! One minute we are cloud watching, the next we are running for cover from the down pour of rain! These clouds gathered on the east side of our valley last weekend.
They became angry, whipped up the wind and produced thunder that rolled in the distance!
Pretty, but angry!
We had hay down...we did not need or want the rain!
But the rain came and it poured down on us with force! This was last Sunday and it rained off and on the rest of the week. It rained again all day yesterday. Very sad to see the hay that was cut almost two weeks ago still on the ground. Nothing to be done now but wait out the weather and hope for sunny, warm days to come. Now if only we could get the weather report to cooperate!
Love clouds myself. Was out at the lake tonight with Molly laying on the dock looking a them. I love the first picture it looks like a heart in the middle. I love a good sudden rainstorm as long as I'm inside..Hope you get warm, dry weather this week.
Ironically you know what I see in the first cloud picture you posted? A big fat Heart!
I think the rain has hit us now, Saturday, last night and today it's been pouring here in Wisconsin, and I know for a fact that several of the fields here are in the same soggy boat...
On the brighter side...warmer and dry weather is coming; and hopefully for you guys it's very very soon.
Very sorry to hear about the poor weather you've had for making the hay. That is so discouraging. May sunshine come your way soon so the crop can be salvaged.
Your photos are very nice. I see a heart shape in the clouds of the first photo.

Oregontribal1....please, please, please send the warmer temps faster....we are in great need of warmth and sunshine!
That hay will beat a snowball! It always makes me sick when that happens.
Yeah, rain here too. Nice for the things that have been planted. Bad for downed hay and attitute.

I love a good thunderstorm...but not when their's hay on the ground. gah!
Rain never seems to come when we really want it, too.
I really liked your photos. They are truly spectacular. What amazing views you have. :)

That must be frustrating! I'm not a farmer but I assume you have to wait to bail the hay until it's dry so it won't mold?
Sorry about the weather but the photos are beautiful.
