We have had a series of summer storms roll through our valley the last few days.
They have been powerful storms!
I sat on the porch yesterday evening with my iPhone and took some shots of the light show that was playing out before me.
I was able to capture some cloud to cloud lightning!
There were seven thunderstorm cells over our county when I was taking these photos!
Three of those cells were located in or near our valley.
I'm very afraid of lighting and usually will not venture outside when there is a storm.
Yesterday was different and I braved the elements and my fear!
The sky was angry, the thunder rolled and the lightning zig-zagged across the evening sky!

How cool! We had a thunderstorm so bad this afternoon..... a giant bolt of lightening and then thunder that literally rocked our whole store. Amazing!
What a great shot, lightning is not the easiest to get a picture of. Like you I'm a little bit afraid of lightning also. I would rather be indoors when it storms. We could use some rain in my area. Everything is dry, the grass is on longer green, it is brown.
