As I dropped into the valley yesterday evening, I noticed that the fields are finally turning a pretty shade of green. I have been able to see the green in the fields the last few weeks, but it finally just popped with a vibrant shade in the last few days!
Even though there were tragic events unfolding across the county, I chose to focus on the beauty in front of me. I can't let my mind go to those dark places.
It is much to heartbreaking at times!
It really was a beautiful evening!

I think green is my favorite color especially after a drought-filled summer.
I love the beautiful blue skies with the clouds just hanging around. Our grass is finally starting to green up also. Today we are enjoying a day of rain, with a some thunder. Just the kind of lazy day to lay around and read a book.
Beautiful photos! Thanks! Yes, in these tragic times, we DO need to focus on other things. I'm not saying we shouldn't forget about the tragedy in Boston, but we have to go on and LIVE. My prayers go out to all of the people affected by the Boston tragedy.
The green pooping out here is making me happy as well. In fact, the lawn needs to be mowed but it's still to cold!
I sure wish we had some of that green. We are so dry here :(
