Woke up to the sound of rain this morning.
The sound of rain is one we haven't heard for some time.
As I drove to work and climbed up out of our valley, it started to snow.
Just a dusting covered the mountains around us.
Am I ready for winter...not really, yet we need the rain, so I won't complain. (too much!)

So beautiful. I really like it but not ready for it here.
It never rains in Southern California..well..not very often anyway. The dusting of snow is wonderful.. :) I mean..wonderful!!
Snow is lovely, but I can wait another two month before it snows, at least I hope two months.
We are supposed to get some snow this week, and sadly I am so depressed about it - I need a better attitude. :)
So pretty with the powdered sugar look on those hills.
We've had a very mild autumn and I am grateful, but we really could use some rain...I just hope it holds off on the snow for a couple more months :(
