Fickle Weather

In recent days the weather has alternated between temps in the low 60's to windy to rainy to snow.
A weekend storm produced a white blanket of the fluffy stuff, twice!
We woke up yesterday to snow on the ground.
A very wet snow!
By yesterday afternoon most of that first snow was melting.
Late yesterday evening it started to snow again.
This time the flakes were falling in soft, fluffy form.
This morning the valley was covered in a blanket of white.

It really looks like soft, fluffy clouds covering the ground.
The official start of spring is a mere few days away...
but winter isn't willing to give up so easily!
(this is really only the third or fourth good snow we have had all winter!)

Isn't that just like Mother Nature - giving us a warm winter and then snow on the first day of spring!

Your pictures look beautiful though :-D

We have been breaking records high here in Iowa. The past week has been in the Hi 70s and the last two or three days it has been in the 80s. However, there is rain coming for a few days this week and they are saying the temps are to be in the 60s, more normal temps for this time of the year. However, you can keep the snow... ; )

That does look like fluffy white clouds....pretty cool looking.
Winter hangs around here for a long time too.
Still cold and windy and muddy (at my place)

I love that last photo! We had a cool few days here, too, in AZ. It was 85 degrees at home in Chicago, and a mere 56 here in AZ! How crazy is that?

We're experiencing much the same here. I'm hopeful that the snow will be gone in a couple of weeks and that we can get busy enjoying warmer weather and planting pretty things to look at and yummy things to eat.
