The Hilton

I tried to make a reservation!
But no guests were being accepted!

I followed "The Hilton" to work on Thursday Morning.
The ironic part was it was being pulled by a brand new Ford truck!
I thought about flagging the driver down to see if he would park "The Hilton" at the fair grounds and I could crash there when I was totally exhausted, but somehow I didn't think the driver would appreciate being flagged down by a crazy lady with her daughter pointing a camera at him....lol.

I survived another very busy fair weekend!
My legs and feet ache from running a million miles over the course of Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
There is very little sitting down allowed on fair weekend!

The weather stayed nice!
The events and shows went smoothly...no run away animals!
The 4-H kids were awesome!
And there were only a few minor issues with parents!

Today I get to relax, visit with company and  catch up on some blog reading!

Love it! There is nothing that appeals to me more than traveling wherever you please while towing your home-away-from-home right behind you. Such freedom...and perhaps to that person, that "rustic" trailer is his Hilton (without the high price) after all. :)

I'm glad that fair weekend went of without a hitch. Sounds like you had a great time!

That is so funny!! I love that they named their camper The Hilton.
I do understand about the old camper and the new truck though.
We have a camper and it is paid for and we only use it a couple times a year - so even though it is getting old now (16 years) there is no way we are shelling out money for a new camper...but a new truck - a more reasonable purchase!

That's freakin awesome! And I picture the driver a dark dude in a blue tank top with hairy arms and back stickin out everywhere. Unibrow. *shiver*
