High Point

Fair weekend is behind us!

(I have the shin splints to prove I never stopped moving the entire weekend!)

After being on the go non-stop since last Thursday, things have returned to a somewhat slower, more normal pace.

CountryChick and I put in long hours over the weekend. I was working of course and she was showing her chickens, mentoring younger 4-H youth and having a bit of fun in between all of the hard work.

The Big Surprise of the weekend...CountryChick won High Point Senior 4-H Exhibitor!

We are so PROUD of her!

Here she is going through her poultry showmanship class.

She showed her Old English Game Hen, Roxy.

Receiving her High Point Senior Award from the Mayor.

She received a Grand Champion ribbon in each of the following division...photography, crafts and creative arts.

Add that to her High Point Senior win at the 4-H horse show and she has had a stellar 4-H year!
