Then Never!
Our little theater isn't always timely when it comes to current movies and sometimes we just have to be patient and wait, wait, wait and wait some more!
We were finally able to go see The Help this past Sunday.
After reading the book, I passed it on to my mom and when she was done she gave it back and Countrychick read it.
We took my mom to the movie with us on Sunday. It was the first time she had been to a movie in many, many, many years.
She even managed to stay awake through the entire movie, so I know she really enjoyed it.
We all loved the film version of the book!
It was very well done!
I'm so glad we were able to enjoy this movie together...

I've heard good things about "The Help" movie and book. Which should I do first...read the book or see the movie?
...and the memories made were priceless.
I loved the book and can't wait to see the movie! Splenda Daddy won't go with me, so I have to make it girlfriend night out, but I am MOST DEF gonna see this!
We have a little theater I love to go to. It has been in the little town forever. It reminds me of the movie theaters of the 40s and 50s. "The Help" movie hasn't arrived yet, but I think it will arrive in a few weeks. I really am looking forward to seeing it. Like M-Cat I will have to see if any g-friends want to go, but I too, am MOST DEF gonna see this movie!
To Jeannelle>>>Read the book first, if you have the time. Books I find are always better than movies. However, from what I have been hearing this movie is good.
I've not read the book yet and like your Mom, I've not been to the movies in many years. I just wait until they come out on DVD, which seems to be faster every year.
I love that you were all 3 able to get together and enjoy an evening out.
