Now don't get too excited...these are just a few snap shots that I took throughout the day.
We headed to town after a late breakfast to spend the afternoon and have dinner with my parents.
It rained most of the day and at one point you could hear thunder roll in the distance.
A bunny for breakfast!
Country Chic dyed little bantam eggs on Friday evening.
I made a gluten free carrot cake as my contribution to Easter dinner.
The centerpiece on mom's table.
Wine selection for dinner.
No, we didn't drink every bottle...we saved one. *wink
I spotted the quail playing in the puddles outside the kitchen window.
They didn't hold still very long...
Yep, we had lobster along with ham for our Easter dinner!
The family...minus Cowboy M. because he was working and me cause I was taking the photos...lol.
Dinner was wonderful!
We had to take dessert home and eat it because we were stuffed!
The carrot cake turned out Great! YUM!

So are you allergic to Gluten? I have a friend who is and it is interesting to me all the gluten free products and recipes out there. Good for you making the cake!
Oh my goodness! Can I be invited to your house next year for Easter?
What a wonderful celebration with so many creative, pretty, fun and tasty touches throughout the day.
