I Can't Believe

That you, my beautiful daughter, turn 18 today!

It seems just like yesterday that you turned thirteen!

Eeek...where have those years gone!

You came into this world an entire month early on a cold, blustery February day!

I knew I was in labor, but your dad was convinced I wasn't. You're lucky you weren't born in the middle of nowhere in the truck..lol!

You were an easy, fast labor and arrived in the world just after 10 p.m. on February 9....eighteen years ago today!

(I would have posted baby photos of you, but since the old computer went kaput and the scanner is attached to it and wouldn't work, I didn't get any of those photos scanned for blog use. I can hear your big sigh of relief....lol)

So I pulled a few photos to share.....you turning 13 and getting your first ipod shuffle!

And then in the blink of an eye....you grew up!
I'm not sure how it happened, but when I wasn't paying attention, you went from tomboy to Beauty in the blink of any eye!

You make us so proud!

You are an amazing, beautiful, talented, intelligent young lady!

I'm proud to call you my daughter, but I'm even more proud to call you my friend!
