I'm back!
Did ya miss me?
I have really missed participating in "rows" over the last month or so.
All of my row offerings today are work related and were taken in April.
I help organize and put on an Ag in the Classroom Day for all of the third graders in our county.
We have 15 stations set up around our events complex and the youth travel from station to station throughout the day to learn about agriculture in our state and county.
We had over 300 youth participate this year!
We have a family that raises Churro sheep and they have participated in our event for the past eleven years now.
They have some beautiful products that are all handmade and yarn made from the wool.
You might wonder what jelly beans have to do with Agriculture?
Well beef by products (gelatin) are used to make jelly beans.
Do you know what gelatin is made out of?
You might never eat another jelly bean again if you did! Ha, Ha!
My daughter has been involved in 4-H Dairy Goats for the last four years.
As a 4-H Ambassador she worked the Ag Day event.
The baby goats were a hit with the little kids!
Rabbits, Rabbits....all in a row!
For more rows, be sure to visit Pat over at A View from the Edge.
