Eggs in a Basket

The girls have been busy!
Most of the new pullets have started laying.
Each day is a surprise when I go to collect eggs in the houses.

I have Dominique, Deleware, Ameracauna and  Australorp pullets in the new group of layers.
Opal is a Delaware pullet and she is a very talkative bird!
I would rather spend time with my "girls" then sit behind a desk all day long and deal with other people's issues!

I'm right there with you!

The Australorpes are some of the best laying hens I've ever had. Gentle and easy to handle, too.

Love the different colors and sizes of the eggs. The Chicks are lovely also.
