Fall Back and Remember

November!

Already!

Wow! 

I'm not a fan of the time change!

All of this "fall back" crap is for the birds!

I'm just not a fan of it getting dark while I'm still sitting at my desk at work!

I'm not a fan of having to drive home in the dark!

If I lived in town and just had to drive down the street, no big deal, but I don't and for me, it's quit a trek to get home in the evening. 

The early darkness makes it less enjoyable! 

I left work early this past Friday because my boss poked his head in the door at 4 p.m. and told me I could leave early if I wanted to. 

Who was I to argue with that!

My drive home was nice and as I turned on to the dirt road that leads to the valley, the sun was setting.

It was a beautiful sunset full of color!

I'm glad I was able to see it!

I took this shot at the top of the hill before heading into the valley.

This was taken on the curve by the first set of hay fields leading into the valley.

 And this shot was taken on the "straight of way" heading towards home.

It's a three day weekend!

Thank you to all of the Veterans who have served past, present and future for their service and sacrifice! 

We must always remember that there is a high price to be paid for all of the freedoms that we enjoy!

May we never forget that!
