Did you know that February 11-17 is Random Acts of Kindness Week?
I didn't know it!
I'm sure there are many that don't know about it!
I found out by accident and then went here to read more about it.
I was impressed with the website, with what I read and the idea of an entire week dedicated to random acts of kindness!
Heaven knows we need a lot more kindness in this world of ours!
Most people (myself included) are so wrapped up in themselves and their "rat race" busy lives, that kindness gets pushed to the back burner!
Kindness is a simple, basic need.
We all need it and we all have it to give!
But being kind in today's world isn't always easy to do.
People, more often than not, are very distrustful these days.
So kindness, in turn, is in short supply!
So I'm going to issue a challenge.
Take a moment to go to the website and read about Random Acts of Kindness week.
There are some great ideas listed throughout the site.
Then, go out and do something kind for someone else!
Make it random, something small just once or maybe once a day for the rest of the week.
Just do it!
See how it makes you feel to step outside of yourself for just a moment!
And maybe, just maybe the ripple affect of such random acts of kindness will reach wide and far.
Even for just a day!
Now go out and spread a little kindness!
I dare you!

WELL....I didn't know about this being "random acts of kindness week" either.
BUT it's a great idea.
Nothing like a little act of kindness to really lift a person's day...and in return, your's is lifted do by doing it.
It's a win win !!!
Last Wal Mart trip I helped a lady find the correct light bulbs for her oven and another appliance. She kept apologizing for bothering me. I said it was my pleasure.
A little good goes a long ways.
