What does one do while waiting at a railroad crossing for a very, very, very long train...
Well one takes pictures of things in a row, that's what one does!
The train was a long, slow moving one and stacked mostly with double rows of cargo containers.
I actually got out of the car and moved closer to the tracks to snap some shots.
Rows on the cargo container and on the crossing guard.
Wheels in a row, crossing guard rows and in the background, a fence in a row.
A herd of antelope in our valley, running in a row!
These are my offerings for the week.

Those are neat train cars (in a row), D.H. Did you see any transient people riding them? Mrs. Jim in childhood lived a block away from the tracks. They would go over to watch the trains and look for bums riding the rails.
You antelope are nice also. You have a beautiful view if you can see those mountains from your home.
I never liked brussel sprouts either but now they are one of my favorite vegetables! Same for greens, spinach and broccoli. I still cannot stand okra.
..
Don't EVER start counting the box cars when a train goes by because then you can't stop! Or at least I can't! Ha ha!
That last photo just takes my breath away! So beautiful!
Those are some great box cars. At least the ones you saw are working cars that actually carry freight. The ones I photographed have been sitting in the same place for over a year.
I love your shot of the antelope running in the valley, that is beautiful.
Trains are always a great theme! Very nice!
Wow, Pronghorn! It's been a long time since I've seen those! I used to see them all the time when we lived in Utah! Love them!
