RIP!
And I felt a slight breeze!
I helped Hayman install a new sprinkler package on one of the pivots today.
(this was after I did a closet purge and got rid of four bags of clothes!)
There are seven towers on the pivot and a total of 107 sprinklers.
It took 3 hours to complete the job.
I may or may not have installed two of the sprinklers upside down. Which wasn't discovered until the pivot was turned back on. It then had to be turned back off so someone could fix the upside down sprinklers.
I'm pretty sure I wasn't the one that put them together that way...no really, it wasn't me. *wink*
So what does all of that have to do with the sound I heard, well....
As I bent over in the back of the truck to complete part of the sprinkler job I heard a ripping sound.
Yep! I ripped the seat out of my favorite pair of Levi's!
It wasn't just a tiny rip either!
Let's just say that now I have a pretty nice pair of "mooning' jeans!
On the upside...I had a little extra air conditioning while completing the job!

That was a very favorite pair of Levi's to have worn them long enough for a rip. Hope you can repair them.
I use a lot of worn jeans for artsy projects...rugs, bags, and for my daughters first car...a set of removable, washable seat covers, complete with jean pockets lining the back of the seat.
I always mourn the loss of favorite jeans.
Is that why we noticed a little extra 'light' shining from down your way? ☺
OK That is funny! Free air conditioning - Hee Hee!
lol! You and I have much in common, my friend. This week alone I ripped out the seat in two pairs of cotton capris. I tend to wear them to death till they are basicaly thread bare. And then one day....Riiiip! lol! The little breeze is actually kind of nice, I agree. lol!
