Well more like Spring downpours, bring beautiful rainbows and flowers!
I spent the majority of Monday in a Defensive Driving Class. I expected it to be tedious and boring, but it certainly wasn't any of that! I had to attend with my co-workers and we were all in agreement that the class kept us interested for the entire afternoon. I think everyone should have to take one of these classes and see the videos...especially teens! They should have to watch the videos many times before they ever get behind the wheel of a car! Just say'in!
So we spent most of the afternoon stuck in the basement of the building that hosted the training. It was cold down there and it smelled funny too! Ick!
Upon dismissal from class we walked out to discover that it was raining a bit. By the time we got back over to our office it was pouring and then it started to hail! At one point I walked past a window and a bright spot of color caught my eye. I went to grab my camera and headed out the door. This rainbow appeared bright and vibrant against the angry sky.
I stood in the road facing east to take this shot. The colors were amazing!
On my way back into the office I noticed that a few of the daffodils in the flowerbed had bloomed!
I love their cheerful yellow color!
And then I turned and saw the pink flowers of the flowering plumb tree!
They were so pretty against the patchy blue sky.
Snapping a few photos was a good way to end the work day after being cooped-up all afternoon in a stuffy old basement!
On the way home I got caught in another hail storm that pelted the heck out of my car!
And then the rain poured down again!

You know I have never seen those Defensive driving movies - I kind of hope I never have to but I do believe teens learning to drive should see them at least 3 or 4 times!!
Your spring pictures are beautiful - I hope you guys dry out soon!
The weather is so crazy this year! We met with the regional meterology folks today at my work and it seems there will be LOTS of flooding if it doesn't dry out and warm up soon!
The upside of all the rain is that lovely rainbow. Nice shot!
Wow!! Gorgeous rainbow! No rainbows here. We have no rain. Spring has arrived in your area. Sure hope the hail didn't damage all the blooms and flowers.
