As in Blueberries!
I'm in love with blueberries these days!
Up until last year I really wasn't a fan of the blueberry.
I have no idea why either.
I just didn't like them all that much.
Last spring I bought some blueberries on sale at the store.
They were so darn good!
They were bursting with yummy goodness!
I put them in muffins, pancakes, waffles, on my Greek yogurt, ate them plain for snacks.
I was on a blueberry roll!
When winter rolled around, I started buying them in frozen form.
Last week one of our local stores had blueberries on sale, buy one get one free.
Couldn't pass up that deal!
They are grown in Chile, so I was leery at first, but I bought some.
I'm glad I did...they are "oh so very, very good!"

Blueberries, one of natures super foods and super yummy too!
I will post a few blueberry recipes soon!
BLUEBERRIES ~ Robert Frost
“You ought to have seen what I saw on my way
To the village, through Mortenson’s pasture to-day:
To the village, through Mortenson’s pasture to-day:
Blueberries as big as the end of your thumb,
Real sky-blue, and heavy, and ready to drum
In the cavernous pail of the first one to come!
And all ripe together, not some of them greenAnd some of them ripe! You ought to have seen!”
You can read the poem in its entirety here
It is a fun read, but rather long!
I hope you have enjoyed my blueberry post...now I'm off to eat a snack of...what else, blueberries of course!

Pretty picture! My kids and I used to go pick blueberries in the summer and make jam. Well they ate most of them before I could make the jam - ha ha!
Granny used to say, your tastes change every seven years...maybe something to that.
The only trouble with that 7 years things is I am never sure when it started so am never sure if it is my 7 year anniversary kicking in or what. Oh the stress :0)
But in all of my 7 year anniversaries I have never been able to like a blueberry. I don't know why. Myabe I just need a good recipe....
