Are You Ready?
After a weekend of shopping and baking, I'm still not ready for Christmas! There are still gifts left to purchase and goodies to be delivered to friends! Will it ever get done!? Don't even mention Holiday cards.....we are getting them, but I doubt I'll be sending any! Maybe everyone will get a New Year's card......LOL! Are you all ready for Christmas or are you still scurrying around to get last minute stuff done?

I'm still scurrying. I WOULD be done if I hadn't taken on some projects for others. I have a Mom paying me $60 to sew her kids each a pair of quickie fleece jammies.
She's going to give them to the kids saying Mom made them (without mentioning that the "Mom" in question is me). Kinda sad for them but hey, it's some extra Christmas cash for me and I can be bought. She lacks the time and I lack money so it's a win-win for she and I. She IS making them a fleece blanket so it's not a total fabrication.
I am so ready for the holiday...except for the cleaning, laundry,shopping to replace food lost...and alot of other unexpected things that crop up when you're without power for 3 days....other than that we're Great!

Still running around like a mad woman....I have had so many family issues out of town I forgot Christmas shopping and baking....At least you know your not alone...
