Aprilcicles
Whatever happened to the "drip, drip, drip of an April Shower?" April showers bring May flowers...or weeds in my case, but the snow....really, come on, the snow needs to GO!! We had a fast moving storm come through last week and it left several inches of snow in our valley. I had to put my car in 4-wheel drive to get over the road leading out of our valley to get to work. The fields which are springing to life with green were covered in a blanket of white.
The temperature dropped to an amazing 28 degrees! As the snow melted off the roof it formed the icicles below. It felt more like a cold winters day than a spring day in April!

What a crazy roller-coaster of weather! I hope the snow didn't hurt the hay fields. We had mid-80's here yesterday....really, it doesn't need to warm up quite that much so soon!
Have a great weekend!
I meant to say, also....that first photo is lovely....a haunting mix of cloud color and snowy mountains. Love it!
You just don't know what the weather will bring. Aprilcicles today and bikinis tomorrow!
Hi! I am just north of you in Eastern Idaho. Our weather was supposed to be wind and snow today. We were glad when the storm missed us. Sorry you got it. I grew up near Twin Falls on a gravel road. It seems the only thing certain about the weather around here is, "Wait a minute, it will change."
Yowza! Now I'm feeling really lucky we just got rain. Hope it melts quickly!
The weather keeps us guessing, doesn't it?
This weather is crazy...on our trip to Amish Country it was in the 50s and rainy...the days after we came home...70s and 80s and big gorgeous rays of sun! Go figure!
We do the same thing here in Montana--it is hard to keep up!
Wow! Chilly willies! We usually get more snow this time of year...all the way into May, but I'm hoping we escape. But we do need the rain, so I'll gladly take that.
Those two photos are really stellar! The top one could be on a wall. Gorgeous!
