On my way to work this morning, I noticed a tiny hint of green beneath the winter brown landscape...it seems as if Spring is finally trying to make itself seen. Oh how I wish these lovely flowers were blooming in my yard. But alas they are not! I don't even have a yard, just gravel. My goal this spring is to find some charming planters and get some flowers planted and then I must start thinking about the garden.....I need to convince Hayman to build another raised garden bed as well.
Enjoy this first day of Spring no matter where you are in the country. It might be warm or chilly where you are, but if you put a smile in your heart, it will feel like Spring!

I've got tulips ready to bloom! I can't wait, I just love spring!
The color of these tulips really pop with your purple!
I am ready for spring but there is still Easter Flurries and Blackberry Winter to go.
My Dad has som crocus' blooming--and it just happens to be a beautiful day here--but wait 15 minutes and it could change! Sounds cheery in your neck of the woods!! Happy Spring to you too!
Oh, Deserthen, thank you for posting that lovely bright picture! What a treat! The crocus and daffodils are just peaking up from under the silage by the barn (it blows there from the silo). Soon we all will have flowers blooming! Your idea for planters sounds great. We have so much lawn.....I'd gladly give you some if I could.
My first sunflower opened up and bloomed today! Come see!
I so love tulips!
What a blessing to come here and see your Spring Welcome! TULIPS!!!
Melt my heart!
(wish they could melt this winter away!!)
Happy Spring to you, too, my friend!
