This sign and lights really caught my eye.....this little place is a very nice restaurant and lounge. We didn't go there for dinner......we had "man food" ribs and beer at a Micro-Brew restaurant.
Just outside of Roxy is this water fountain.......the horses are very cool. The fountain is very large and my photos do not do it justice.

The hotel had these beautiful trees placed all around. They were so pretty with all of their festive lights.
Saturday was spent shopping.....I was forced to endure THREE "Man Land" stores.......we stopped at Cabela's, Sportsman's Warehouse and Scheel's........I did get a bit of girlie shopping in, but not much. We had a nice dinner at Olive Garden....Hayman's first ever visit to that particular restaurant. I DID NOT enjoy the crowds, grumpy people and the rudeness that seemed to be everywhere. I did manage to get a bit of holiday shopping done.I forgot to take my camera with me to the various stores we went to....which was probably a good thing since I might have used it as a weapon on some of those rude people!!
I must concentrate now on finishing up my shopping....very little left to do. Getting stuff baked, packed and mailed.....and I must get the Christmas cards done or people will think we have fallen off the face of the earth. I don't think I have missed a year of sending cards in the nineteen years we have been married....better not break the tradition now.

Beautiful photos of a wonderful weekend! I love that horse fountain. So majestic!
And man food? Bring it on! Me likey some ribs and beer, too! lol!
Oh, and this year I decided to conduct an experiment to see who will send me a Christmas card before I send them one first.
I usually get mine sent out in November, but often don't get any cards from anyone else until late December. So I figured that some people only send cards to those that send them one...and then they feel obligated to send one to that person.
So this year, I'm freeing those people of any stinkin' obligations! lol!
And I get a little break in the process, too. :)

Beautiful is not a big enough word to cover your pictures!!!!!
Check out my contest.
I have yet to do my cards. Hoping to get them done this weekend. Looks like a nice trip (minus the rude people).
Oh, I love your colorful photos! Its really fun to take pictures of signs and stores, I found that out at Mall of America last spring.
I'm amazed you have a Scheels out there.....we have them around here and for some reason I thought they were just an Iowa thing. Shows you how much I don't know!
Sorry to hear about the rude people....goodness....noboday should be that way around the holidays, and that includes ME....I try to remember that when I'm out in crowds this time of year.
Best wishes finishing up with shopping and cards. Do what you can. If some cards get mailed late, it won't matter.
I hope your weather is improving!
