A Walk In The Fog

Friday morning dawned foggy and cold. I grabbed my shoes, coat, gloves and hat and out I went for a walk. The dog joined me and we watched together the wonder of fog and ice. Everything, even the spider webs were covered in frozen, icy fog.

Oh! So true Mr. Emerson!

Just look at that delicate frost. And the sun trying to burst free from it's constraints of fog, is just beautiful.

Wonderful photos :)

Amazing. I can't wait until it gets cold enough here for that. It's supposed to snow tonight....here's hoping.

Perfect quote. I love what frost does to even the simplest things.

Oh, I love these frosty scenes! Glad you took that walk! This morning we had more frost all over everything, too, before the wind came along and blew it all away.

The snowflake decorations look lovely here on your blog! You're hoping they will bring snow your way, right!

Jeannelle,

Yes, I'm hoping for a little snow to come our way....I won't enjoy driving in it, but we really do need it badly for our water situation and also for the fact that I just plain LOVE snow....=)

I love your pictures! Frozen fog is really beautiful! All of our fog has NOT come with freezing! Which, for Cowboy is a good thing!
and for my mental state...even better!
